Recipes with BananaMama Marinade

Vegetable Rice Recipe with BananaMama Caribbean Marinade and all-Purpose Sauce

 

I cup of rice (jasmine, basmati or long grain)

2 cups water

1 spoon salt

 

Boil the rice for 20 minutes or until cooked.

Once cooked let it sit uncovered so it will not overcook

 

I small red bell pepper chopped small

1 bell green pepper chopped small

1 bell yellow pepper chopped small

3 grated carrots

6 stalks of asparagus chopped.

1 small yellow onion chopped

I small shallot chopped

2 spoons BananaMama Caribbean Marinade and all-Purpose sauce.

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil.

2 stalks chopped green onion

Large skillet or frying pan.

 

Add the oil to the pan, then add the BananaMama Caribbean Marinade and all-Purpose sauce. Stir it for 2 minutes.

Sautee all the chopped ingredients and grated carrots in the skillet. Stirring occasionally for up to 3 minutes.

Add the rice and continue stirring and blending it in with the vegetables. Add 1 tsp of the

BananaMama Caribbean Marinade and all-Purpose sauce for more flavor and some 1 tsp salt for taste.
